Achieved 282 X ROAS on a key campaign
The Brief
Having a brand with 20 different sites can be headache-inducing, and figuring out what works for one location may not always be what’s right for another. Our mission was clear: to create clarity in the chaos.
Setting the business up for scalable marketing success meant they needed a partner to:
- Overhaul the conversion strategy across all sites
- Implement proper performance marketing to drive revenue
- Create an effective SEO strategy that moves the needle
- Set up tracking that actually works
- Turn messy data into clear insights

The Strategy
We rolled up our sleeves and got to work, using The Botanist’s flagship site in Warrington as the gold standard before implementing the changes across the rest of the locations.
But a strategy can only start to shine once the fundamentals are in place, which meant we had to go back to basics in our approach.
Month 1-2: Foundation Building
Our work began with the creation and optimisation of the brand’s GA4 Property, monitoring consumer behaviour and setting up the correct tracking procedures, for all sites.
Month 3-6: Execution and Optimisation
We got GA4, GTM, Facebook Pixels and Tik Tok Pixels all working in harmony, allowing us to create targeted advertising campaigns that delivered killer results. Our personal best was 227 X ROAS for one particular campaign.
Of course, no performance marketing strategy is complete without SEO. We developed an SEO strategy and SEO auditing documents for in-house teams for utilise, plus regular on-page SEO campaigns.
Ongoing: Performance Marketing
Having a well-oiled machine with the right strategy is the difference between playing whack-a-mole and running a lucrative marketing operation. Now it’s a case of continuous campaign refinement, regular performance reporting, and SEO maintenance that keeps The Botanist ahead of the competition.
We didn’t reinvent the wheel. We just got sh*t done and fixed what wasn’t working.
Six months on? £115k+ in incremental revenue - and a setup that can finally scale.
